England trip 2 – Jorvik

On our way south, we passed through York, where we visited the Jorvik Museum, where a vibrant woodturning community existed in Coppergate around 900 AD. The museum displays a number of preserved wooden finds, as well as turning waste and a number of spindles. And as a bonus, the small cup that Pieterjan had recently made a reproduction of was also on display.
